  • ¿Where is the hotel located?

    Go to the “Destinations & Hotels” section of our website, there you will find the offices that Tierra Viva Hotels has. Just click on the tab that bears the name of the chosen hotel and both the address and the location map will appear.

  • What is the arrival time or "check-in" and the departure time or "check-out" of the hotel?

    The check in time of our hotels in Lima, Piura and Trujillo is at 2:00 p.m. and check out at 12:00 p.m. In Cusco city, Machu Picchu and Puno the check in time is at 12:00 p.m. and check out at 10:00 a.m. In our hotels of Arequipa and Sacred Valley, the check in time at 2:00 p.m. and check out at 11:00 a.m.

  • Breakfast is included in the price?

    Yes, all our rates include breakfast.

  • Does the hotel have a restaurant?

    We only have a restaurant in our hotels of the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Trujillo and Piura.

  • What are the opening hours?

    Our front desks are open 24 hrs.

  • Do the hotels have conference rooms?

    Our hotels in Piura, Trujillo, Arequipa, Sacred Valley and Lima have boardrooms of a minimum of 6 to a maximum of 16 people. The amount varies in each destination.

  • Do you have transfer service from and to the airport?

    Yes, we have transfer services at an additional cost. The cost varies according to each destination.

  • Do you have a laundry service?

    Yes, the cost varies according to the cloth type and you can request the service in the Front desks.

  • Do they have parking?

    Our hotels in Lima, Piura, Trujillo and Valle Sagrado have their own parking.

  • Do you accept dogs?

    No, only our Sacred Valley hotel is pet friendly and has an extra cost.

  • Is it possible to store luggage?

    Yes, you can store your luggage in the storage of each hotel. It has no extra cost.

  • What are the breakfast hours?

    Regularly it is between 6 and 10 am. This could vary slightly according to the season.


  • Where can I find the hotel's contact information?

    You can find it by clicking on the “contact” tab in our main menu.

  • If my flight arrives at dawn, can I take the room when I arrive at the hotel?

    To have the room available for an early arrival, we recommend making your reservation one night in advance.

Room type

  • Can an extra bed be added to a double room?

    Yes, but only some room types allow adding 1 additional bed. In the Mendiburu and Larco hotels we cannot add an additional bed.

  • Do your rooms have a jacuzzi or bathtub?

    Only some types of rooms have a jacuzzi or bathtub.


  • Does the price of my room include VAT?

    If you make a reservation through our website, the rate does not include taxes (18% IGV)

  • If I don't have breakfast, does the rate vary?

    No, the rate is the same with or without breakfast.

  • If I need an early check in/late check out. Does it have additional cost?

    Yes, it is subject to availability and extra cost.

  • What is the cost of an additional bed?

    It is only possible to add an extra bed in some of our hotels and room types. The cost is USD 20.00 per night and breakfast is included.

  • What is the additional cost for a buffet breakfast?

    The cost is USD 12.00


  • Do children pay an extra fee?

    Only children from 0 to 3 years old do not pay for accommodation if they share the existing bed with the parents.

  • From what age children pay an extra fee?

    If a kid, between 4 to 10 years old, shares the bed with the parents the charge is $10.00 per night including breakfast.

  • Do you have cribs for babies?

    Yes, some hotels have cribs and others pack and play. It is subject to availability and written confirmation.

Changes and cancellations

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    A penalty will be applied according to the policy detailed in your reservation confirmation.

  • How far in advance can I cancel my reservation?

    If it is a reservation with a regular rate, you can cancel it 48 hours in advance. If it is a reservation with a non-refundable rate, it will always have a 100% penalty.

  • If I can't travel because my flight was cancelled, will I be charged a penalty?

    To evaluate the exemption from penalty, you must send as support the notification of cancellation from the airline.
