Also, on the way to the Ballestas Islands you can see the Candelabra, a geoglyph drawn on the sand of the dunes. Its impressive size (180 meters long) only looks dull with its age: it is more than 2,500 years old and neither the wind nor the constant earthquakes have managed to blur it. Awesome!

The land of this place was at some point the bottom of the ocean and therefore you can find fossil remains and salt on the road and its surroundings.
